Reins for Children

Franklin Habit translated the pattern for Reins for Children from Weldon’s Practical Knitter, Fifth Series. Weldon’s, a London pattern company, began publishing the needlework pattern books in the late 1880s. The pattern states, “These reins are quickly and easily knitted, and afford a great deal of amusement to children, besides being capital exercise.”
